Skraldefanten

Aarhus, 2014

Skraldefanten (The Garbage Elephant) is a sculpture created for Gandhi Awalk, a demonstration / award show by the Danish radio show Gandhi on DR P3.

Skraldefanten was made from scrap plastic, mainly plastic buckets, and designed to look like a real size classic Indian elephant. The Indian elephants are characterized by the smaller ears.

Skraldefanten was pulled all the way through Aarhus by a local football team, and now has its home at Thomas Dambos workshop waiting for a new owner.
