Black Bird

In the flower shops around Copenhagen, they get there flowers delivered in black plastic buckets. These buckets have no refund system, so hundreds of thousands of these are thrown out every year. The Thomas Dambo team saw this as an opportunity to build a sculpture out of these, so they gathered buckets from the local shops and build this recycled black bird sculpture. The eggs are made from beer pipes used at Roskilde Festival, and the nest was made in a workshop with locals using branches from cut down trees.
