Remake Christmas

Christmas is way too materialistic.

Christmas presents don't need to be something you buy.
You can make them yourself, using your creativity and the abundant resource called trash.

That's what Remake Christmas was about:

In 2015, I built a big, cozy, recycled Christmas Village in the center of Copenhagen, where anyone could come and make their own gifts for free using only recycled materials and their imagination. The village was made from scrap wood and discarded aluminum billboards. The materials used to make the presents were a mix of the trashcan on the corner and general waste from restaurants and local institutions. The place was open 24 days in December: 100.000 thousands of adults and children visited the village and made more than 20.000 Christmas presents from trash.
